Alvarado Ticketing and Turnstiles
Alvarado’s GateLink Validation is a total admission control solution that
seamlessly combines Alvarado’s scanning turnstiles, pedestals and handheld scanners, and virtually any ticketing system, into a reliable, state-of-the-art facility admission system.

HOW IT WORKS

As patrons enter the facility, tickets are presented to Alvarado scanning hardware for validation.

The GateLink Validation system reads the barcode and, if valid, a green light and display indicate that

entry is granted. If invalid, the display explains why the ticket was rejected. GateLink stores the time and location of each scan. This information is immediately available to supervisors using a portable terminal, or later, via customized reports.

The entire GateLink Validation system is comprised of three components:

GateLink Validation Software is a server-based Windows application that is designed to function

as “plug-in” entertainment facility admission control software. GateLink Validation communicates with the facility ticketing system and controls the Alvarado Scanning Hardware used at facility admission points.

Alvarado Scanning Hardware consists of turnstiles, pedestals and handheld scanners designed to communicate with the GateLink Validation software. Alvarado hardware is well-engineered and highly integrated both in terms of looks and functionality. Alvarado offers radio frequency communication, battery powered operation, portability and operational redundancy in a very attractive package.

Integration to the Ticketing Provider is accomplished through the use of an easy to follow API that allows the ticketing provider to utilize the full functionality of the GateLink Validation system.

Unlike proprietary systems, GateLink Validation does not limit your choice of ticketing options, protecting your investment in Alvarado admission control hardware and software.

Whether your facility uses a traditional in-house admission system, web-based ticketing, third-party ticketing company, or even a combination of methods, GateLink closes the loop between the ticket purchase and the gate.

GateLink Validation allows real-time, online scanning of general admission and reserved seat tickets, season passes, and credentials, even “print at home” tickets.

In addition to accepting valid tickets, the GateLink Validation application interface provides several methods to instantly cancel issued tickets, allowing cancelled tickets to be rejected at the gate.

This powerful feature not only makes it easy to deal with lost or stolen tickets, it also makes it possible to provide your customers with the latest, technology-driven ticketing options, such as web based season ticket holder transfers and resales.
